This project marked my inaugural studio endeavor at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The project's initial phase entailed the development of a communal area designed to eventually house the "Fairmont Hub," a proposed Community Center destined for Fairmont, Newark. The primary objective of this endeavor is to foster unity within the community and provide residents with opportunities for extracurricular activities. The inspiration for this design concept derives from the core ideals of unity and inclusivity, with the design's form abstractly mirroring the image of a community tightly embracing one another.
